VTU4U (Visvesvaraya Technological University) has all set to announced the results of third semester BE/B. tech which is held in the months of December 2019-2020 along with UG/PG, results are updated on 21st March 2020, as we all know VTU has a large number of students who appeared in the exam last year and waiting for their results. so VTU decided to released the all section results from semester first to eight on the official web portal https://results.vtu.ac.in.
Candidates need to check their results by filling their CSN numbers and captcha on the official website (link is given below)

The good news is that VTU 3rd semester results 2020 has been published now on the official web portal results.vtu.ac.in and as updated on March 21, 2020, 05:10 PM.
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) had conducted the third-semester examinations for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses during December 2019-January 2020
In comparison to last year, the results are late, but now it is finally announced and the direct link is activated.
Note: In order to view class results, USNs have to be searched at least once.
Why so? : Since we store data on separate database other than VTU database, all results have to be fetched at least once so that next time you search results, they will be fetched quickly

How to check VTU4U results?
- Visit the official result page direct using – https://results.vtu.ac.in/
- Results link for BE/B. tech CBCS/Non-Cbcs courses are listed
- select the Result link
- enter your USN Number and Captcha code to check the VTU results
- Check Grades, marks, CGPA
- Take the print out for the future reference
- VTU usually uploads the results between 6 pm to 08:30 pm on its official portal.
- Sometimes, the results.vtu.ac.in server becomes unavailable between 9 pm to 9 am.
- Students are supposed to check their 3rd-semester results as soon as it is declared or check the same on the next morning after 9 am before the server going down.
- VTU 3rd sem results uploaded on the site are, for now, will be provisional. The final results and marks sheets will be distributed
- after updating the marks of revaluation results.
- Apart from the Internet checking of results, students Can also Receive their VTU provisional results from their respective colleges
Along with results.vtu.ac.in site students can check their results in vtu4u.com on the unofficial portal sites. VTU4U results 2020 are also updated in tune with the official statement.
VTU Class Rank & Marks
VTU class rank is offered to those students at the time of awarding of a degree in each course/branch if the student fulfills the given criteria below:-
- The student must have passed in all the semesters (1st to 8th) subjects in the first attempt only
- For the B.E/B.Tech students, all the cumulative marks obtained in 5th-8th semester exams will be considered.
- The student should have completed his course in 4 academic years and must not have rejected or repeated with any back semester any of the lower semesters.
The VTU rank is provided to the 1-10 top rank holders throughout the state in each course/branch.
In the CBCS scheme, students have to obtain 7.7 CGPA to be awarded First Class with Distinction (FCD). For the old (2010) scheme, students were to obtain 70% marks for achieving FCD in their marks sheet.
